This knitted blanket is made by hand from 100% baby alpaca wool. Alpaca wool is even softer than merino wool and it insulates slightly better than normal wool. It does this dynamically, making the blanket wonderfully warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It has a soft shine and therefore looks very luxurious. Baby alpaca wool refers to the finest hairs of the adult alpaca. It is light and very soft and is considered the Rolls-Royce of the wool.
